my boyfriend and i stayed here on Jan 1st for one night. What are plans were is to stay here because it was sooo cheap. We booked this hotel for $42 canadian. We were only staying one night because the next morning we headed over to buffalo to shopping. The hotel is right across the street from the Casino as well as a few doors down from the wax museum(we didnt get to go to...next time). The casino right across the street is the older one. The Fallsview casino(newer) is about a 15 - 20 min walk. Not to bad. We ate the new casino at their buffet. soooooo goood! i recomend. Anyways, the rooms were big, the only thing that i really noticed wrong...and u wil agree with me ladies. Is that there was no full length mirror. Actually, the only mirror in the room was in the bathroom.....the beds were good, clean room, pool area was awesome. I would for sure stay here again!

My friend booked a room for herself and teenage kids in the outside "old" part of the hotel mentioning you never spend much time in your room. Their room was on the second floor, up cement ice covered stairs and $75 and VERY scary - the room smelled horrible and was gross. This was booked directly through Days Inn. I booked on an online site and after reading the reviews booked the tower with some apprehension. The room I booked was $45 after a online coupon and was nice. The room was on the 4th floor a non-smoking floor. It was clean and HUGE. There were 2 areas, one with 2 Queen size beds that were VERY comfortable; and a pull out couch bed with a TV in that area. There was 2 chairs and a table and a desk with chair and computer hook up. The bathroom fixtures were all new and clean. The room overlooked Clifton Hill and you could see part of the falls. The ice maker was on the floor and a soda and snack machine. Make no mistake this is not a luxury hotel but it is steps from Clifton Hill - there is a nice steakhouse outside of the hotel and it is across from the casino. It is also a short drive from the Fallsview Casino and the Seneca Niagara on the American side, a very good location for all. The parking is $10 a night, but I dare you to find free parking in the Clifton Hill area. They do have a no tolerance policy which means, no loud music, drunkenness etc......so be prepared if you come to party - I suggest doing it outside the hotel, the staff was also a bit rough around the edges. All in all I would go back to this hotel in a second and have extra to spend elsewhere in Niagara Falls!

My 2 daughters and I stayed at the Days Inn Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls, Ontario on Oct. 13/07. We stayed in the new tower section on the second floor. The room was clean and had a door to the outside on a shared blacony. We saw the older "Motel" in the rear of the new hotel and yes it is dated and probably should be removed........but that would be very costly to the Days Inn.
I researched many hotels in the area prior to booking. Alot of the reviews said that the motel section was not in great condition so I booked according to those reviews. It did cost a bit more to stay in the tower section so I was aware of the additional cost and was pleased with my decision. It did cost $10.00 to park, however we had to check out by 11:00am and I asked the clerk if we could keep the car in the parking lot and she said yes no problem as long as we were out by the next check in time which was 3:00pm. So that was perfect for us. This hotel has a Appleby's restaurant attached and we went for breakfast. The breakfast was very expensive.......omelet, homefries, english muffin and coffee was $12.95. Oh well.........there are alot of restaurants to choose from in the area which are alot cheaper including "buffets". I already ate too much fudge, icecream, chocolate the day before anyway and didn't want to indulge in an all you can eat environment.
The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is situated where all the action is...the famous Clifton Hill attractions.....and a short walk down Clifton Hill to the Falls. I live only and hour and a half away and this place still is amazing to me. There are alot of attractions to choose from including a few 4D movie rides. We chose the Ripleys 4D movie ride along with Ripleys Believe It Or Not exhibit....both great attractions. We also went in the "Maze" which was fun. There are several "Haunted Houses" attractions. We chose the one that is called "Haunted House" and it was lame. Good for the kids under 12. The are several with live actors in them which I'm sure would be more fun.
I would stay at this hotel again with no problem.

The hotel was VERY clean. The young girls at the front desk were very friendly and efficient! I do suggest staying in the tower section for the great views and newer rooms.I got a peak into a room in the older section and it was not nearly as big or as updated as our room in the tower. The walk to the falls was a little longer then expected so we did have to drive and pay for parking closer to the falls. With 5 women we did have one complaint...Not enough mirror's there was only one in the bathroom which made it very difficult for the 5 of us to get ready in the mornings..So one suggestion would be if your traveling with a bunch of women, bring an extra mirror.

5 of us stayed in the family suite in tower section, 2 nights in early August 07. Since we were traveling with a pre-teen & two teenagers (2 boys & one girl) we needed to find a room to accomodate all of us and this was perfect. We had read reviews ahead of time, so we weren't sure what to expect since they were mixed, but we were very happy when we walked in to our room. It was much larger than we had expected, clean, 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper, 2 tvs. The beds were so comfortable, we never heard a sound all night, staff was very friendly, had been told ahead parking was $10, which was well worth it (were able to park right outside the door by the elevator). The only time we had to use our car was to drive to Niagara on the Lake for a few hours. For the price and our needs this was absolutely the best! We would definately stay here again.

Couple Notes:
We learned from our last trip up there that it is worth it to pay a little more to stay at the falls, last time we stayed 20 minutes away, had to find/pay for parking (pay each time you move your car), do a lot more walking, not able to stop back at our hotel to change, have a snack or just rest. Also learned that Souvenier City is great for pictures and browsing, but you can buy a lot of the same items other places much cheaper, even with our discount coupon, and that Cave of the Winds was the biggest hit with all of us (Journey Behind the Falls doesn't even compare).
