We booked here solely on all the positive reviews on trip advisor and we were thrilled we did, easily the best place we stayed in Canada for service, cleanliness and location. Such good value for money, we really werent expecting all that much for the price so it was such a great suprise to turn up and find this beautiful hotel in such a great spot. We didnt have a car and had no idea of the layout of Niagara Falls but found that everything of interest is an easy stroll from the hotel. The Country Inn has the added bonus of being away from the tackier areas so its lovely and quiet too (I am a very light sleeper and didnt hear a sound all night, beds are huge and so comfy as well). We were on our honeymoon and paid $10 for an upgrade to a spa room, it was SO worth it, huge room and lovely big spa tub. There is an indoor heated pool and spa anyway if you dont have the $ to splurge on a spa room. A buffet style breakfast is included in the price and we loved the 'make your own waffle' station. The complimentary cookies at reception are the best, its hard not to raid the cookie jar each time you pass (but you can if you want, its great! :) Cheers to all the staff that work at the Country Inn, the most helpful and friendly people we have come across in our travels, much appreciated.

“Newer hotel with heavenly beds and great service”

I wanted to impress my wife so we got the king room with jacuzzi for $179 on a Saturday night which I thought was reasonable because all the other nice hotels were charging $200 or more (Sheraton, Marriot, Fallsview Resort). We only stay at newer hotels or renovated ones so this hotel fits the bill. I chose this hotel because of it's rating here. Don't wanna risk having a "lemon" so I trusted the views from this site. I'm glad I did. The hotel is fairly new (June 2007) and on a smaller scale (7 floors only) but the facilities are great! Beds are heavenly. TV is flat screen (not flat panel though). The staff calls you on your room to ask how your stay is and if you need anything, now that's what you call excellent service. You meet a staff on the hallway and they greet and smile and ask how your stay is. Parking is included which is a plus and probably a big factor in my decision to pick the hotel, as well as the free continental BF. This BF has more choices than you think, including boiled eggs and make your own waffle station aside form the usual cereal, toast, coffee thing. Indoor Pool open from 8am -10pm and is average size. I found the hot tub to be hot and very uncomfortable. This was the only negative I had with my stay. The hot tub at travelodge by the falls has better temperature. Overall, I'd probably go back if price is not an issue. Most of my trips to the Falls are budget trips. I may come back but only on a weekday when rates are low.

Country Inns have always been reliable from my perspective. Arrived at the hotel surprised to find no charge for parking, (due to off season?). Location is great; you can walk to any Falls attraction on the CA side; Clifton Hill and plenty of restaurants are the same. If you're there for two nights and don't want to drive, you can do it from this location.

So glad I picked this place. I was wary at first -- I know nothing of the geography of the area and didn't want to have to drive to see the falls. Couldn't have made a better choice. It is well within walking distance of the White Water Walk along the river to the falls. There is no view (not from my room anyway), but since we weren't there to stay in the room, it really was irrelevant. If you are the betting type -- there is a casino basically across the streets

It is a little off the beaten path, so during the high season you are not likely to be disturbed by the other tourists staying out late. Free breakfast (continental, of course), open from 7.00-10.30. Given the prices in Niagara -- that makes quite a difference

The beds are too soft -- my only real complaint. Anything else is typical of a hotel (thinner walls, warm pool, etc) -- and therefore totally expected by me.

I would stay there again and would recommend to my friends.

I booked this hotel solely on its good reviews on tripadvisor. I booked directly on the hotel website and got 2 rooms at $64 each! So cheap and such a good deal as the hotel is so nice! Location excellent, so close to Clifton hill and all those tacky attractions and a short walk to the falls. The hotel looks fairly new, parking was free, staff extremely friendly. Highly recommend.
