My husband and I, just got back from a trip to Niagara Falls. We chose this hotel based on the #1 rating on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. The room was awesome and had a great view of the Rainbow Bridge. The location is a little walk from various attractions but is certainly no more than a block or two from anything. The staff are wonderful and very helpful with directions and helping you plan a day of events if you haven't already got things organized ahead of time. The continental breakfast was great. They have cold cereals, as well as instant oatmeal... coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juices, milk and water... along with a variety of breads/muffins/bagels and condiments. There are also waffle makers there and they do make good belgium waffles.... they certainly smell great when cooking. The overall experience of this hotel was more than expected. The halls and elevators were clean. We didn't use the pool but it seemed to be a favorite of the kids. There is a fitness room with a couple of treadmills, an eliptical machine and exercise bike. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good and affordable place to stay.

“Very Nice Hotel!!”

Country Inn & Suites Niagara Falls

19 Jun 2008

My family and I stayed here for two nights June 12 and 13. The hotel is in great condition. Everything in the room was in good working order. The breakfast was very good, with alot of choices.

My kids enjoyed the cookie jar and the pool. Very close to Clifton Hill. Yet a bit of a walk to the horseshoe falls.

Front desk provided us with discount coupons for the Sandstone Grill, which is directly behind the hotel. Great restaurant at reasonable prices.

“A good hotel for this class...”

I booked a room at this hotel on an arrival night of an extended stay in Niagara Falls. I chose this hotel because of reviews here, and I was arriving late on a Saturday night and did not want to pay a premium at a upper class hotel for half a night, especially one of the most expensive nights of the week for hotels in Niagara Falls.

I booked a studio suite a few months prior to arrival and paid about $150 for a Saturday night in early June. The check-in process was quick and painless. The staff was courteous and quick. They have parking at the front of the hotel for use during check-in. After you check-in you move your car to the back parking lot. Yes, parking is free. One of the few hotels to offer free parking in Niagara Falls.

The room was what I expected as far as size, with a king bed and pull out sofa. There was a small refrigerator in a mini bar, a desk and a dresser with a TV on it. The furniture was in good condition and the bed was comfortable. There were some stains in the carpet by the mini bar where the refrigerator opened, but this was really the only cleanliness issue I observed. I understand this is a new hotel, but these are the little things that have to be quickly taken care of. The bathroom was average size, with a tub/shower that lacked strong water pressure. Maybe that is my preference, but I like a good blast in the shower. The bathroom was clean and had a water saving toilet with a half/full flush lever.

My biggest complaint, as noted by other reviewers here, would be the noise factor. I am no contractor but this hotel needed either thicker walls or better insulation. Normal level talking good be heard seeping through the walls coming from other rooms. I woke to slamming doors and people talking in the hallways. It didn't seem like the people were being too loud, but more that this was a design flaw.

In spite of these issues I would probably stay here again if the price is right. I would just make sure to request a quiet location. i would say that this hotel is good for its class, but in my opinion probably isn't number one in all of Niagara falls.

Brand new hotel.....everything is new and nice, but location wise could be better.

If you have kids and want to stay in the are for kids this is good option for you.

If you prefer a little more adult atmosphere try to stay to the north end of the main drag.

Try the Embassy Suites or something in that area.

Absolulty get a people mover pass! They have buses and a incline mover to get you around.

The Embassy Suites is right at the top of the incline mover.

“Great Hotel for Families”

Country Inn & Suites Niagara Falls

I wasn't sure what to expect when we booked our stay for a short weekend with the family a few weeks ago in May. After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, we felt comfortable and decided to book 2 nights here. When we arrived, the hotel seemed to be close to Clifton Hill and we had no trouble at all checking in. I must tell you that my 6yr and 4yr old daughters loved the 24-hour cookie jar! From the minute we opened our door, the room smelled fresh and was clean. I am the mom who always travels with my own mattress covers/sheets/tablecloth (for the table) / handi-wips/and a ton of Chlorox wipes (and I literally wipe EVERYTHING in the room down). I guess I watch too many NBC Dateline "what you don't see without a black light' shows!" I doubt the cleaning was neccessary...I mean the room was really clean and very nice. It was great to have a sitting room with a small couch / chair with a TV. It made it easier for us all to get ready for the day. We had a problem with the fridge not being cold enough and after my husband called, the maintenance dept was there within minutes. Later the same night our remote control / tv wasn't working and again, after a quick phone call, the problem was taken care of with great speed and the gentleman was very nice and understanding. The front desk was helpful with directions and tips for the Falls. The breakfast they offer was really nice. My daughters thought we were at a very "fancy hotel", I guess it was the waffle maker and the free 24hr cookies. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone visting the falls. We were only a 5 minute walk to Clifton Hill and with the rates being so low (comparable to other hotels in area) it was a great stay!
