We stay at this quaint little Hotel once a year for our Anniversary or just for a romantic date week-end with my hubby.

Clean, classy, comfortable, beautiful breakfast and great wine tastings.

They will drive you to your desired restauarant each night- no worry about drinking and driving. Or you can walk into the village. Nice stroll.

We always rent bikes or bring our own. Get a picnic packed or pick up fresh produce on our bike ride. Do some wine tastings, and drive the bikes back to the hotel. Our goal is to find some wines that we love enough to drive to the wineries the next day and buy a few cases for our cellar. Such fun!

We plan on going again this year.

We have stayed at the Harbour House twice now, both at the end of October and end of November, for our anniversary. The rooms are impeccable, beautiful, luxurious, and same goes for the bathrooms. Each time we have enjoyed the huge counter spaces, gigantic and romantic jet tubs, and wonderful showers. Each room has a gas fireplace that is so cozy and wonderful, esp in the cooler months, and is stocked for comfort with robes, toiletries, goodies and extra pillows and blankets. Being able to borrow DVDs for no extra charge is a perfect way to spend the later night, and service there is also wonderful, especially Joseph. Each person goes out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible, and the entire hotel, rooms, lobby and breakfast room are beautiful. Last but not least, the European style breakfast ALWAYS is indulgent, and we leave in the mornings very full!

My sisters & I took our parents to the Harbour House for their 40th wedding anniversary, and the staff was tremendous! They bent over backwards to make it a special event for us and made us feel like royalty. There's not enough room here to describe all the great features --- needless to say I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The "continental" breakfast was anything but---you get smoked salmon, hot cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, etc. As soon as you sit down you are greeted with by a friendly smile and hot coffee served in china tea cups!!
We stayed in #204 and it had the BEST jacuzzi tub---you can fit 2 people in there! Nothing else to say other than wonderful staff, room & food:)

This unique boutique hotel nestled in the historic village of Niagara-on-the-Lake embodies the essence of a deluxe hotel and is the perfect romantic get-away. It is a leisurely stroll to Shaw Festival, the main street with its quaint shops, and several restaurants. And it is just one short block to the mighty Niagara River and Lake Ontario.

Everything about Harbour House is luxurious and elegant and the attention to detail is superb! Under the guidance of Ryan Murray, General Manager, all the staff were friendly, attentive, helpful and yet unobtrusive. We were pampered with late afternoon wine tastings featuring Niagara wines, shuttle service to area restaurants and a sumptuous breakfast. Our room was an oasis of serenity with a fireplace, whirlpool tub, ultra-comfortable bed with luxury linens, personalized stationary, decadent chocolates – these are just a few of the amenities that Harbour House provides to earn the well-deserved award as the #1 Hotel in Canada. We shall return to nourish our body and soul!
