My husband and I recently traveled to Canada to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. We had heard wonderful things about Niagara-on-the-Lake, so we decided to pay a visit. Based on the stellar Tripadvisor reviews, we decided on the Britaly B&B. We were not disappointed with our choice.
While the B&B is in a relatively modern home, it abounds with lots of warmth and charm and is beautifully decorated. Aldo and Graham, the hosts, could not have been been more friendly or welcoming. The breakfasts, on an impeccably set table, were so filling and delicious that we ended up skipping lunch on both days because we were too full! We enjoyed great conversation each morning with Aldo, Graham and the other guests. "Homey" and "cozy" are words I would use to describe this B&B. My husband and I truly felt like we were staying with friends, the feeling was that comfortable and relaxed.
There are only two very small downsides I see to this accommodation. The parking is limited to the driveway and I would imaging that some shuffling of cars would be needed if there's a full house (there wasn't either night we were there). The location is convenient, but it would be best to have a car to get to the different wineries and to the "downtown" area.
Plus, no review would be complete without mention of the Britaly "mascot," Rufus. Rufus is the sweetest, friendliest dog you'll ever meet and another wonderful part of a Britaly stay.
Thumbs up to the Britaly B&B!
