If you are looking for a wonderful place where you can rewind, relax and recharge, Niagara-on-the-Lake is the place to be. If you visit this serene town, you have to stay at Williams Gate Bed & Breakfast! We (my husband, our teenage daughter and I) spent two nights in one of Williams Gate's immaculate suites. The beds were so comfortable that every morning we would wake up feeling rejuvenated. Our suite was tastefully decorated, spacious, and private. If I have to summarize our stay at Williams Gate Bed & Breakfast in Niagara-on-the-Lake, I would have to say, "it's everything you could possibly wish for on a get-away trip". Our fabulous hostess, Anca, served us a delicious and fulfilling breakfast every morning! She is a wonderful, welcoming and discreet hostess! Anca provided us with all the information on all the attractions the town has to offer – we were amazed by her knowledge; it showed that she really is a part of the town and her business is definitely a plus for Niagara-on-the-Lake!

My family and I (husband and daughter) stayed two nights at this wonderful bed & breakfast. We chose Williams Gate because it was a self-contained suite, complete with kitchenette, bedroom with two queen-sized beds, living room w/ cable television, bathroom, wireless internet, and our very own separate entrance. This was our first experience staying at a B & B, and it was more than we ever could have expected. Anca, our hostess, is full of gracious hospitality, which created an atmosphere of familial comfort. She answered our questions thoughtfully, and even provided us with coupons for tastings at several wineries. Breakfast was a treat, with homemade baked goods, fresh fruit, and other savoury dishes. I highly recommend this B & B if you want to a "home away from home" experience.

The main reason my wife & I decided on Williams Gate was that the suites are complete apartments with their own private entrance, kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom(s). Anca our host made us feel right at home, we stayed in summer 2006 and just returned for June 2007 for a second stay. Clean & nicely decorated, with cable TV and WiFi access. Delicious home-cooked breakfast at your kitchen table, like quiche, nut bread, yogurt with fresh fruit. Quiet and convenient location. Queen St attractions a are a short distance away, and the area is perfect for getting around via bicycle, thanks to flat terrain with quiet side streets, bike lanes and paved trails. Would definitely recommend!

My friend, vesting from Haifa (Israel) and I had a most enjoyable staying at Williams Gate Bed and Breakfast. The apartment we stayed in was tastefully decorated, cozy and enticing to rest and relaxation. The breakfast is a real gourmet treat, and served in the apartment’s eat in kitchen that allows for added privacy. (For my friend and I it was a cozy opportunity to catch up and reminisce upon early teenage years). It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves away to go and do the touristy things everybody does in Niagara on the Lake.
The hosts welcomed us in a warm and professional manner offering guidance for the activities during our stay.
I definitely will return and recommend it for anyone who is looking for a relaxing, comfortable stay.
