I have stayed in Niagara-on-the-Lake several times and have had my fair share of the good the bad and the ugly, but finally, I have found 'the best'!

Hilltop Manor is a 5-10 min. walk away from Queen Street (the main drag) in a lovely, quiet, residential area. The rooms are immaculately clean and the breakfasts are of gourmet caliber. The host, Karen, is a charming woman who was absolutely lovely from the moment we booked our room with her. She helped us plan our entire weekend; from recommending excellent well-priced restaurants, to suggesting a selection of the 'off the beaten path' wineries to giving us insiders tips to all the local hangouts and attractions. And her breakfasts were to die for!!! (if you have the pleasure of trying the blueberry scones, you'll know what I'm talking about). If you love to eat, you won't find a better breakfast in Niagara on the Lake.

This is by far, my favorite place to stay! It comes highly recommended! The next time I visit Niagara on the Lake, I know where I will spend the weekend.

Congratulations Karen (and Toby, her extremely friendly border collie), you have made Hilltop Manor a must-stay in our destination book!

Great place to stay, lovely rooms with great furniture and decorating. The morning breakfasts are wonderful, and I can't wait to have an excuse to go back.

As soon as we arrived at the Hilltop Manor, we knew it would be the perfect spot to stay for our midweek getaway. The beautiful house and gorgeous garden were mesmerizing. The interiors of the manor was tastefully designed with a charming and graceful ambience. The location is ideal, within walking distance to the heart of old town Niagara. Karen, our hostess, was so friendly and helpful that she made us feel at home throughout our stay at this lovely and cozy B&B.

The heritage suite was fabulous and spacious, with a nice view of the quiet and picturesque neighbourhood. Clean and comfortable bedding and linens were laid out and the ensuite bathroom was well-equipped for guests. Karen's attention to detail was impressive and personal, it was great to return to Hilltop Manor for some peace and rest after a full day of activities.

All guests were served a gourmet and nutritious breakfast in the formal dining room which overlooked the garden. It was a pleasure to wake up to the aroma of fresh coffee, homemade raspberry/blueberry cake, delicious french toasts, maple-glazed bacon, broccoli & cheese quiche -- just to name a few. The portions were generous and the flatware/stemware was charming too.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Hilltop Manor, and we have no hesitations in recommending this wonderful B & B to everyone.
In fact, we would love to stay here again if we visit Niagara-on-the-lake in the future.

The Hilltop Manor B&B is a must if you're looking for accomodation in Niagara on the Lake.

The rooms are large, clean, well decorated and have ensuites and central air. The location is perfect....2 minute walk to the lake, 5 minutes and you're in the middle of main street. Set in quiet residential neighbourhood, it is the ideal location. The building and grounds are beautiful...the hot tub looks inviting, but we didn't partake due to the hot weather. Prices were excellent, ....by far the most economical b&b we found with such an incredible location (5 star accomodation for a low price...can't beat that).

Karen (the host) is wonderful....extremely friendly, helpful, hospitable. Was prompt in returning correspondence during booking, was full of local knowledge (and discount coupons!!), very courteous, and very laid back.

The breakfasts deserve their own paragraph......wow.....fresh fruits, yogurts, oven baked apple pancakes, fresh walnut coffee cake, blueberry scones, maple bacon etc etc etc.....still drooling!!

Can't say enough about this b&b...definiitely one of the top we've stayed in for all reasons (location, price, hospitality, meals etc). Didn't want to leave!!!!
