Siri and Harimandir are great hosts and are very respectful of their guests privacy. They offered helpful suggestions as to where to eat and great places to visit. We were traveling with a baby and Harimander borrowed a crib from a friend so we did not have to travel with one on the plane. Thank you again!!!! The B&B is very close to downtown and there are several restaurants and shops in walking distance. This is a great place to stay, very affordable and if we return to Ottawa we will definitely stay here again.

Siri and her husband Harimandir have a superb customer focus - their B&B Spa is such a treat: their room's are lovely, the breakfast is so nice, and the spa treatments are a joy! I had a facial and cranial sacral treatment - wonderful :) I also had an iridology session - total rejuvination!

The owners are perfect hosts for anyone travelling to Ottawa! First off their Bed and Breakfast is very cozy, in an incredible location, and totally affordable! Secondly the owners are so kind and hospitable. They take care of your every need despite the affordable price. They ensure your stay is comfortable and that you have what you need to do what you are planning in the city. Whether you are there for vacation, business, visa-renewal or anything else, they know how to take care of you. Every morning of my stay I witnessed them serve breakfast and answer the questions of the diverse travellers and always give perfect advice. They make incredible food which tastes amazing and is always healthy. They also offer a variety of other services. They are totally courteous and come straight from the heart. I even witnessed them as they gave food and shelter and a break from the cold for regular 'visitors' who are elderly or destitute and come to the bed and breakfast for basic needs. There are several people who are partially supported (in life) from the generous efforts of the owners.
Additionally there is a spa, and you can get a massage or facial as well. You could learn just about everything about Ottawa from the husband and wife team. You can go on a nice walk in the park that surrounds the great museum across the street from the bed and breakfast. Many businesses are close by including a car rental place a health food store which I walked to when staying there. I highly recommend the Downtown Bed and Breakfast. The entire ambiance is so cozy and friendly, anyone would have an unforgettable stay in such a lovely place.

This B&B has an excellent location, walking distance to downtown Ottawa’s government buildings, museums, and restaurants. Siri and Harimandir are very friendly and helpful, treating their guests like visiting friends. Breakfasts are healthy and generous. Beautiful historic house has sunny, pleasant rooms.
