I understand the hotel is soon to close, and to be converted into residence apartments.
Rooms are large but old, and not to FS perfect standards. And no door stoppers in rooms, so one keeps hearing doors slamming every now and then. Service on the other hand was almost perfect. I had room service once and late dinner at the bar and food/service was excellent. Housekeeping efficient and polite (although should check Ihome clock time display). Concierge and receptionist staff are very helpful.
Breakfast: no buffet, a la carte only with irregular service.
I look forward visiting the new FS Toronto next time.

Thank you for your note. We appreciate your comments, and thank you for your feedback. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed your dining experience and received excellent service from our staff. As you know, Four Seasons Hotel Toronto has 'moved' to our brand-new location (two blocks from the previous location) in the heart of Yorkville, at the corner of Bay Street and Yorkville Avenue, and is scheduled to open Summer 2012. Featuring large, sun-filled contemporary guestrooms with oversized bathrooms, a 30,000 square foot luxury spa, and Cafe Boulud and dbar by international restaurateur and Chef Daniel Boulud. I very much look forward to welcoming you back to Four Seasons soon.
