Stayed here for a night before taking a flight out. No complaints.

Staff was friendly... room was better than average... not perfect. The place did have a slight musty smell. Could be considered a travellers hotel.

We did have to park in a dirt lot way behind the hotel, but the car was fine and the hotel provided a shuttle for us. I knew of one person at the double tree across the road that had their windows smashed an airbags taken and that's quite a problem!

This hotel is very average. Nothing really to write home about. There's a Greek restaurant in the hotel, and that was just OK too. Stayed there only one night.

Don't expect much for the continental breakfast. It's juice, coffee and a few muffins.

It's a place to put your head for the night, and I didn't have any problems with that.

We stayed at this hotel for the fact it had a complimentary shuttle to the airport, free breakfast and reasonable rates. We had to be at the airport very early in the morning and found that this place suited us nicely. The halls had a musty smell, which caused me concern about the state of the room. I was pleasantly surprised when we got to our room though. It was very clean, looked as if it had be fairly recently redone. I was concerned about he noise level, however you really wouldn't know there's an airport a stone's throw away as it was not noisy at all.
There's a Greek restaurant on the premises that we didn't eat at, instead we walked about 5 minutes along Carlingview to a bar/grill called Arizona Bar and Grill. They had 1/2 prices appetizers which were decent. Not much of a family with small children spot but ok for teenagers.
The hotel is located next door to a Comfort (?) Hotel which had a nice lounge area.
I would stay at the Carlingview again, staff were friendly and the musty/dingy hall was not reflective of our room. Shuttle was prompt and a real help for those early flights.

Flew into Toronto and had an overnight stay at the Carlingview. Although alot of people say the price is right as you are only sleeping until you fly out the next day etc., Not sure about you but it is still nice to stay in a place with that "comfort" feeling. Just did not have that feeling here. The room and bathroom felt like I was staying in the basement of my grandmothers house. You know that feeling.......hard to explain. Just empty and hollow feeling. In saying that there was nothing especially wrong with the hotel as service was normal and for what I used the room for it seemed clean. There was apparently supposed to be a continental breakfast in the a.m. When I asked the clerk in the a.m. she knew nothing as to what I was talking about. Next time I would fork out the extra cash and stay at a more comfortable hotel to have a better "cozier" sleep.
