What a pleasant surprise!

My spouse and I had to stay over in the Quebec City area for some administrative business. Hotel rates in the city itself are pretty high this time of the year. I found this location 1/2 hour from the city, contacted them via email and reserved on the same day.

There are 8 single rooms and 5 cottages - each room with a "theme" (apparently still popular in Quebec), we chose the "Western" room which has a queen bed. The room was very cozy, clean and the bath facility (including jacuzzi) was just fine.
The property also has a bistro and riverfront bar - packed with locals drinking wine and beer by the litre and having lots of laughs.

Upstairs there is a more upscale restaurant, with both indoor and terrace. Food and service (a bit slow) was excellent for the price.

Room price was $127 CAD incl tax, very reasonable for the quality. It helps if you are fluent in French but I got by with English and a bit of broken french.

The staff- front desk and all the rest - are all friendly and helpful.. Not a "touristy" place but definitely real local ambience.
