I stayed at the Forest Floor Lodge for 4 nights recently. The place is really quite nice considering how remote it is, and what the accommodation options are in the area. The rooms were fairly spacious, with a big king bed and mosquito netting. I didn’t have any mosquitoes in the room, but used the net anyway. The rooms have A/C, a ceiling fan, free instant coffee, and 2 bottles of water. There is a mini-bar fridge as well. There is free wifi in the main building (registration and restaurant). You have constant sound of water in the Dong Nai River flowing over the rocks in this section of the stream, which was not overpowering at all, and I found it relaxing. The young lady at registration has good English skills, whereas the others are less skilled but try very hard. The staff are all good people. Any request will be met with determination to help. I had no hot water one evening, probably because the previous guests burned up all the gas with the water heater turned to Winter Maximum. I brought this to their attention at around 8 pm, and in the morning I was pleasantly surprised to have gas and hot water. The electricity is supplied by an on-site generator that they turn on at 6:00 a.m. and off at 11:00 p.m. It is also turned off sometime in the morning until late afternoon if there are not many guests, so if you have batteries to charge, plan accordingly. The food was simply fantastic, which shocked me... and I can be a bit of a picky eater. There are a few jungle trails you can take in the area, and in the rainy season you will definitely want to wear leech socks, especially on the 5 km walk to Crocodile Lake.
