We visited Tiger Kingdom in May and it was fascinating seeing these beautiful tigers up close. Since my nine year old daughter was only allowed to interact with the smallest tigers, we opted only for that group of tigers, but we did ask for a photographer, who got some amazing pictures for us (about 100 photos in all, so worth the price if you're wondering).
We went in the afternoon so a few of the cubs were sleepy. The ones that were awake were playful and we definitely didnt think they were sedated or drugged. After our 15 minutes with the beautiful cubs, we spent about an hour just walking around and looking at the other tigers.
There were quite a few older cubs in a large grassy enclosure that were having the time of their lives, rolling and wrestling in the grass, nipping at each other, and growling. We loved watching them. Some of them walked to the fence. When the handler filled a small cement tub with water, the cubs fell over themselves trying to get in. They were just so cute!
We also watched fascinated as the older tigers groomed themselves or cooled off by leaping into pools. There was one especially beautiful tiger who was huge and looked well fed. We spent a long time admiring him. We spent so much time observing the tigers that we also realized each tiger has different stripes!
I can't understand how anyone can kill such beautiful animals!
I highly recommend a visit.
