We stayed at the Radisson for three nights --- and did not have a positive experience. The room we were assigned was in the barracks at the back of the complex (not connected to the main hotel). Room was outdated, dirty, and had the feel of a cheap motel. The ice machine did not work, the pool was closed for maintenance (over the busy holiday season), and they did not offer housekeeping services. This place was a dressed-up dive. I would not recommend.

Poor value for money.

Room's thin walls meant that, like a cheap motel, the couple next door were very audible during their afternoon delight sessions.

Canmore was nice & a great base for exploring. However, this was my first & last stay at a Radisson. I made a mistake & should have chosen somewhere else.

The Radisson Canmore is well-located for a visit to Banff National Park. It has a very open and attractive foyer area, complete with shops, but overall it does feel like a conference centre and not like a hotel in which one should vacation. This is primarily because the rooms are tiny. The room could physically accommodate two travel cribs, though that was literally it - no further floor space at all. The pool, which we were looking forward to using with our two small boys, was closed for renovation / maintenance which was a shame. The wireless internet worked well. We took only minimal advantage of the hotel's facilities, out in the Park all day, but can highly recommend the very nearby "Gourmet Croissant" for an authentic Parisian breakfast of delighfully light pastries.

We stayed at the Radisson for only one night, however, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Our children enjoyed the pool and steam room. The pool area was also very clean and we noticed that the staff checked in occasionally to make sure that towels were replenished etc. We would stay at this hotel again.
