Motel like feeling- not worth $200/night- my 'Resort' room was right at the parking lot. Crummy bathrooms. Messed up on wake up calls
First, when booking we were told by the Radisson website that the only available rooms were two bedroom suites. We arrived to an empty hotel. The hotel then demanded a $250.00 anti-smoking deposit just in case we broke their no smoking law. Upon checking out we were told that this was actually a damage deposit. Without a doubt this was the filthiest room we ever stayed in. The oven had food on the inside of the door, and what looked like melted cheese at the bottom. I moved the sofa looking for another power outlet and could not believe the filth! It looked like years of garbage. There were brown spots on one of the pillows that could be scraped off with your finger nail. In one of the bedrooms it looked like something was splatted on one of the walls and ran down in drips. The furniture was worn and shabby. The tub had water spots on the tub surround.
The pool area was only accessible by going outside. We were only staying a short time and had hauled up a ton of stuff when were discovered the shortfalls. Since we needed high speed internet for business we decided to stay rather than look around at a late hour.
We did receive a 50% discount from the bill after complaining to the management. If you are going to the Canmore Banff area, do not stay here. There are many great hotels in the area. Do not get roped in my the Radisson name on this one. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

We planned to ski in Banff / Lake Louise, Canada, over Christmas. Our reservation was made through the --- website. The Radisson made a mistake in booking the two bedroom suite. The agent from SkiBig3, Taryn Izatt-Galloway, discovered the error and worked diligently with the Radisson to correct the situation, though it was difficult since the reservations for the whole region were filling up. Thanks to Taryn, who I consider one of best travel agents I've encountered, and thanks to the Radisson management who bent over backwards to make amends, everthing was settled to our satisfaction. The Radisson provided us two Deluxe adjoining rooms and breakfasts during our week stay. The breakfasts at Vic's restaurant were excellent and were a highlight during the exhausting days of skiing. The Radisson management was always responsive and helpful. I felt very comfortable at the Radisson, would gladly stay there again, and highly recommend it to others.

I booked this hotel using points so got the room for free. I ended up with the back halway broom closet room, very oddly laid out, no artwork, really icky atmosphere. I guess you get what you pay for??? I won't stay here again..... The service at the front desk was not bad, hotel was full so maybe that is why I got the dungeon? I really think you should try a different hotel.

Things here were ok, but my, but room seemed to have a funny smell. I also sat in the Dining room for breakfast where I sat next to a table of employees telling stories about angry customers. The hot tub was out of order which was a bummer. I did like the sleep number bed and the room had the nicest TV I have ever had in a hotel room.
