My family of 6 adults stayed here for one week. Our two bedroom, "two bathroom" unit was acceptable (there is also a pull-out sofa in the living area). However, the second bath did not actually have a shower. There was a hole where a shower was supposed to be installed. Apparently, all of the units are lacking the 2nd shower. The staff told us that this was an area that would be addressed. So you can imagine how much fun it was for 6 adults to adjust to 1 shower when two were expected. The unit was very clean, the kitchen well equipped, and the view is hard to beat. Don't expect much from the small pool or the hot tub with too few jets. The selection of videos available at no cost was very impressive. The location of this resort is hard to beat- close to Canmore and Banff. I would stay here again if traveling with 4 adults or fewer, but I can't really recommend it for 6 until they get the shower situation addressed. We stayed at this resort for 1 week using our timeshare. Our flight originally got cancelled due to weather in Chicago. The earliest flight was the next day and we didn't arrive in Calgary till 11:45 pm. Once we got our luggage and picked up the rental car, we had a 2-hour drive in the snow to get to the resort. When we got close, I called the emergency phone number that was given me. After 2 tries and no call back, I called the other number listed on the lobby door. It's now 2:30 am and I woke up the woman that works the front desk. She was nice as can be and was there in 10 minutes. She was so friendly and helpful and apologized to us for having to wait so long!! I was a little disappointed when we got to our unit. Although it was very quaint, 2-story townhouse type, I think I was expecting more "plush". I got over that pretty quickly though because it was very clean (a big + in my book) and everything was comfortable and fresh. We noticed the next day that when we came back from a few hours away, our door was open (as a previous review stated). I immediately thought of that! I then noticed that unless you close the door tightly, it would stay open just enough not to catch. Hopefully that was the case with the other guest w/the review. The rest of the week was awesome, the people were all wonderful. No complaints what so ever! Would definitely recommend it!!

We used the timeshare portion of the hotel. We stayed here for a few days but had it booked for the week. We left for a few days to sight see and when we came back, the door was open a crack. This was very bothersome. Nothing of our belongings were missing, but still disturbing.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit which was cottage-like with wooden old-looking doors and a fireplace in the living room. Great kitchen no complaints there. A few things are missing however. There was no mat at the entrance which posed a problem when we came in from the snowy outside. No bathmat. We had to use a towel. With 5 people, that was tough.
The front desk, the pool, spa and anything you needed was about 2 km drive away to the other Hotel.
I would recommend this place, but I would rather have been in the park itself.. Theres always Next time

I called the day that I was supposed to arrive to advise the resort that I would be a day late because of weather.
When I firsted arrived in my condo, I noticed some garbage left in the room, then only to find that the beds have been slept in and the room uncleaned. The Resort swore up and down that they did clean the condo the day the last people left, and that no one had stayed there the night before.

I was told this would only take about an hour and a half to clean, only to return over two hours later to find them just finishing up. To applogize the resort did give use a bottle of wine and chocolates.

The heat wasn't properly regulated through out the night, and I woke up cold the first morning there, I asked the staff how to properly work the thermostat, which I learned that the thermostats both have to be set at a simular setting to work. Then to wake up the next morning only to find the condo freezing again, then I find out about a fan that runs constantly and maybe I should try shutting it off. This actually helped.

Then when going to shower in the morning, I found that both bathrooms had serious calcum build up on both shower heads, and neither worked properly. Then you aren't capable of controlling the water temprature, the water would go from comfortable to scalding hot to freezing within seconds.

Getting a glass of water I ran the cold tap for 5 minutes only to recieve lukewarm water.

We only got one packet of coffee to last us the full week, we found out later that its up to the guest to supply their own coffee. and house keeping came on Wednsday (we arrived Saturday) with fresh towels. You are also expected to take out your own garbage, if you do not then there is a $18 fine. You are also expected to clean your dished, which is acceptable.

The wiring in the condo wasn't done properly because if you turn the lights off in one area of the condo the light switch elsewhere wouldn't work.

Our Timeshare rated this resort a silver, I have to disagree with this rating.

The view and the area around the resort and the lay out of the condo floor plan was gorgous. But I don't think this makes up for the other problems we had to deal with.
