This is one of a quartet of properties in Canmore managed by Bellstar. We’ve stayed at the Lodges so we have a basis to compare. Canmore Crossing is very centrally located with Safeway out one side and Sobeys out the other. Restaurants and pubs are just two or three blocks away.

We rented a two bedroom loft suite which included secure underground parking. Canmore Crossing has rooftop hot tubs in buildings A and C but no pool. The suites have full kitchens, comfortable beds and furniture, and feature very nice views of the surrounding mountains. I thought they were a step up from the units at the Lodges.

If you are in a unit facing the railroad tracks as we were, you can expect some noise as the rail lines are very busy. Two negatives: the floor of our deck was very dirty and the screen was mostly off our patio doors. We cleaned the deck ourselves but the screen was not repaired though we notified maintenance as soon as we checked in.

If you like to be close to downtown, you couldn’t ask for a better location.
