We've just spent 4 nights in this hotel, and we were very satisfied. Very friendly and helpful staff (with uncomplicated solutions for any problem we've had), clean rooms. We've enjoyed the pool and the hot tub (unfortunately, the outdoor hot tub was closed for maintenance), and the hotel also offers professional massage - great after a long day on the slopes. The hotel offers free high speed Internet in form of an ethernet socket - a cable can be borrowed at the front desk. I would have preferred an additional option of wireless Internet.

The non-complimentary breakfast includes egg dishes, cereals, fresh fruits, juices and tea/coffee. But it's not a buffet, so it's not
"all you can eat", and you'll just get one juice and one fruit. I've missed a cheese, fruit salad, and a greater selection of cereals (like Muesli). Furthermore, the breakfast staff seemed a bit unwilling.

My wife and I stayed one night with the rest of our company staff for a Christmas party. We had a nice room on the fourth floor. Our company also booked the convention facility for our annual Christmas party. We had a great buffet. The food was very good, the dessert was excellent. The staff were very professional, courteous and efficient.
If you plan on staying in Fernie for skiing, I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and i had actually pre booked a standard room at this hotel as the first stop of our honeymoon vacation. Upon arriving at the hotel, i could not believe how beautiful it was. The young man at the front desk ( sorry cannot remember name) was very nice. When he asked what brought us to his establishment, I replied "honeymoon". He then so kindly proceeded to move our reservation into their beautiful Grecian king suite. My shock upon walking into this room was amazing. Beautiful decor, very clean, everything exactly in it's place, just wonderful. The staff at check out were great. And so was the little breakfast restauraunt that they have on site. Realizing that we only had like 20 seconds to eat, the 2 wonderful women behind the counter let us order anyways. And may I say that the food was excellent as well. I will most defiently be staying here the next time we pass through Fernie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stayed in Fernie because business brought me there. In fact, my expectations were very low, only because I knew nothing about the town. I had really intended on staying in Cranbrook that night.

When I arrived in Fernie, I was impressed at what a small town like this had to offer the traveller. I even ate sushi that night in an off-site restaurant!

Back to the hotel. The staff at the reception desk was extremely friendly, and the lobby was fantastic. My room was clean, modern and exactly what I would expect of a three star hotel. The bed was a bit of a let-down. It was hard, in that it did not offer much padding, but it was also well-worn, meaning it was starting to sag.

For convenience, there is a Boston Pizza restaurant connected to the hotel, and I was tempted to stay, but decided against it for personal reasons. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic in the hotel grill. Great variety, reasonable prices. Coffee however was another matter. I had to go to the Tim Horton's next door, because the one I had in the hotel didn't cut it.

Overall, not a bad experience at all and if I ever pass through Fernie again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!
