We stayed on the May Day long weekend. Just what we wanted a quiet place and out in the English countryside. There is a bus that runs from Bath and takes about 15mins, only £5 return.
The B&B is run by Peter and Geraldine - friendly and they make a great english breakfast. They leave you pretty much to your own devices and it seems the B&B is the front 3 rooms. We stayed in room 2, it the softest bed, pillow top I think. Comfy pillows. Bathroom was clean very clean and spacious - looked very new. Even though it is on the main road you hardly hear any noise as the house is set back off the road and there isn't a lot of traffic anyway. There was a good tv and free wireless. We sat in the gorgeous front gardens, and went for a walk to the local town and through the fields.
We had dinner at the Northey, not cheap but was great food and perfect cosy quaint put feel. The local pub 'bear' was not as inviting but good for a drink.
All round great and no complaints.
For Bath we took the tourist bus £12 pp for two days and you can do the city tour and the local tour - great way to see the sights and learn a bit
