We planned on stying in downtown Vancouver but after reading about bad experiences we decided to stay in Surrey. This was an excellent choice. Staff is nice, room clean, actually very big with a fridge and microwave. Never stay in downtown Vancouver because when we drove by we saw bunch of drunk people and drug addicts around another Days Inn in downtown. Sleep tight.

Our extended family have used The Days Inn in Surrey many times in the past 2 years for convenience. We all are scattered across Canada and it is a fabulous meeting place for all of us as it is near our Mother, who is in a nursing home close by. The staff actually go out of their way to extend courtesys to us, we feel they are family and look forward to seeing them every trip. Many of the family come and go at different times and they seem to keep track of all of us. This last time was no exception, and I just had to comment on the absolutely supurb service of the hotel. The friendly staff at the front desk had information on buses, sky trains and maps to places to go. The resturant coffee shop ladiesare so friendly and morning hot coffee was always ready first thing when we came in. The food was hot and service prompt and served with a smile. Big feat for many of us early in the morning. We had a impromptu dinner for 15, give or take some children in the dining room on a Saturday night. Management fit us in and our Mother was brought in a wheel chair and made to feel so warmly welcome. Food was fabulous. Our rooms have always been clean and tidy as sometimes I think we are a messy lot.. I certainly will brag about this gem. Thank you Days Inn....Thank you so much.
