I stayed in one of the en-suite twin rooms. Situated to the back of the building they look like they were originally stables. The room was spacious but neglected. Faded wallpaper, large cracks and uninviting carpet. The bathroom was old and patched up. Around 10pm i started to here a clunking noise. The pipes on the radiators cooling down i presume. This went on for around 2 hours and I eventually managed some sleep. At 5am I was woken by the radiators heating up!! An annoying clunk every 10 seconds. It was impossible to get back to sleep.
This room was £45 a night. I have had much better for £30.
The only thing that was pleasing was the breakfast.
