My wife and I stayed at Seabreeze on the 4th May for 3 nights. After much seaching of the www and trawling through pages of accommodation in Looe, we finally opted for Sea Breeze. Was it worth the effort? Yes indeed!!
The location was spot on. When we arrived we were shown to our own dedicated parking space right on the quay within 50m of the guest house, so perfect. This must be pre-booked and for £7 a day a bargain considering the parking in Looe is quite limited.
The room was pretty much as we expected. Spotless and very homely with a good ensuite shower room. The bed was superb and very comfortable, which was very welcome after long days out.
We had room 4 which is one of the breakfast rooms, so if you prefer a more intimate brekkie, it is brought to you. We chose to eat in the breakfast room and had a delightful cooked breakfast each morning. If you prefer as my wife did on day 2 there are yoghurts, fruit etc and oodles of Tea!!
I asked Sue and Andy (the hosts) if they could recommend any restaurants. We went to all 3!! Squid Ink, 50 metres from the guesthouse, Smugglers Cott, also very close and The sail Loft also close walking distance. We are big foodies and we would find it very difficult finding better anywhere else. Very well recommended indeed.
Whilst in Looe I would definetely recommend the coastal walk from Looe to Polperro which aprox 6.5 miles from the front door. Got to be reasonably fit though. There is a pitstop about half way for a deserved coffee/beer at a little place called Talland.
One last thing. The seagulls are noisey but not as bad as we were expecting!!
If come back to Looe we will be staying here again for sure.
Thanks Sue and Andy for a great stay and base in your lovely guest house.
