The Quies Hotel was fantastic and would fully recommend it. We only stayed for 2 nights but wish we could have stayed for longer. We stayed in room 8 which had a breathtaking view from the double windows. I couldnt wait to wake up every morning and see the view.

Freeview and DVD player in room came in very handy because the weather wasnt excellent. Alex and her staff could not be more helpful and we thought the free orange juice, tea/coffee facilites we a very special touch.

Food was fantastic and they would accommodate for anyone's needs. Please not hesitate to book this hotel and we will totally be going back next year and taking a some firends with us.

we have just returned from our holiday at the Quies Hotel and we had an excellent time, we stayed in the family suite where we were given the option of 3 adjoining rooms -a triple seaview & a twin room or a double seaview & a twin room both can be adjoined by an interconnecting door .We had great sea views,even better was that like a majority of places there was no surcharge for a seaview!!!-as i would have expected...in fact i was surprise there was no hidden charges which we have expereienced on many occassions when travelling in the UK and abroad e.g freee internet & wiifi,free useof the playstation 2 and playstation 2 games as well as a vast selection of DVDS!With the offer of free laundry facilities it was explain due to the commercial machines they are happy to do your washing as and when the machines are free giving me the option of not sitting in a laundry mat staring at the machines going round& round(an opportunity not to be missed.
As i am a cynic i was waiting for a catch..there wasn't any! When booking i was informed that they don't charge extra for a seaview ,so if it is raining or foggy you cannot expect a refund - apart from offering the best value for money they are unable to preform miracles with the weather or the ability to control the rest of the clientele that Newquay caters for.
When we checked in ,despite being earlyWill & Alexandra told us their ethos when travelling with your family is ..if the children are happy -then they will let you be happy.(and give you 5 mins peace and quiet.)
When reading some of the other reviews i did have mixed feelings before arriving ..which were put to rest instantly upon our arrival,on checking in the children were priority to us i.e showing them DVDS ,Playstation etc and then our room -this instantly made the children feel important.As breakfast is cooked to order we didn't mind waiting in the morning and with the whole informal and relaxed atmosphere the children felt confident to order their own breakfast and ask for anything they wanted themselves although the request to live in the hotel was politely turned down..
The children loved their short break in Newquay and it as unfortunate that due to work commitments we could not stay longer..on this occassion.

This hotel really is a wonderfull little gem, The owners could not do enough to make your stay as happy and comfortable as can be. The room was as clean and cosy as can be, the breakfasts were fantastic and what a view from the verranda, sitting out ther with a cappochino, you could imagine your self any where in the world, and the honesty bar is somthing i had never seen before. highly recommended, and i will definately be going back

This must be one of the best hotels in Newquay, The staff could not do enough for you they arranged surfing lessons for us, its close to the bus station so we managed to explore with out using the car, The rooms were spot on with freeview box, dvd players free dvds we could use bathrooms were like new, they have playststion the kids could use and had a honesty bar, we used the washing machine free of charge , free internet which we have not seen in any other hotel we syayed at, even gave us beach towels we could use, breakfast was perfect had loads of serial choices and would cook anything you asked for, i wasnt going to post a review but after reading some of the reviews they have had felt i had to write one as this is a great place to stay
