Immaculately kept, fresh contemporary styling.
Cleanliness standard impeccable throughout.
Breakfast menu is beautifully varied, perfectly cooked and of fine restuarant quality thanks to French chef Arnaud.
Room number 9 is in the attic but is spacious with a lovely en suite. Faultless. It has sea views across to the pretty lights of Newlyn and the expanse of the bay. The rear en suite has tranquil views across the quiet churchyard.
Little extras such as local fudge and cookies in your room each morning are very welcoming.
The hosts are both warm, friendly and inviting. If you prefer a quiet breakfast with Nil By Ear though, you may have to politely decline the landlady's effusive conversation :)
The sitting room is very large and there is use of a laptop with free wifi.
Parking to the front and a pretty garden to sit in.
The house is part of a picturesque quiet period terrace set far back from the main road. It is a two minute walk to the seafront and Chapel Street area with it's many historic pubs, restaurants and access to shopping.
I have no prior experience of B&B stays so cannot really comment on value for money. Whether out of season or in, I would summarily state that this is of luxurious standard and most certainly worth the money.
This is a 10 out of 10 review.
My only other observation is that the front vista of the building whilst characterful and pleasant, seems at odds with the very contemporary and stylish interior.
