We stayed here overnight in April 2004 and were very impressed, so booked again. We have just returned and it was still excellent.

Very friendly owners, cream tea on arrival, Molly, their lovely friendly dog there to greet, a huge nicely cooked breakfast, rooms were clean, attractive and so comfortable, it is 1st Class B&B accommodation, so much better than hotels I have paid twice as much for in the past.

Guests have their own lounge if they need it which is clean and cosy and full of local info. The owners also can tell you lots about the surrounding areas and secluded little known places.

Would not hesitate to recommend, and have done so several times!

    • Liked — Rooms and Service
    • Disliked — Teeny roads nearby, extremely remote (also good reason to choose accomodation)
    • Any tips/secrets for future travellers? — Lovely walks off the main tourist trail, definately off beaten track, far superior to overpriced tourist trap accomdodation.

A working farm which does B&B. We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting relatives nearby, and were most impressed. There are two beautiful large well equipped double rooms, both ensuite, and with great views. There is also a guest lounge with a good selection of books, local info, TV and DVD player. We were given a friendly welcome by the owners and their labrador, Molly, and a cream tea on arrival. Great breakfast! The owners were so helpful, nothing too much trouble, managed to book us a lovely restaurant for lunch the same day despite there being 8 of us plus baby, and 4 vegetarians! We will definitely stay here again.

This is quite a remote location about 10 minutes walk from the small village of St Buryan, which has a shop, post office, church, pub and school. A haven of peace and tranquillity, but only about 6 miles from Penzance, which is an attractive town, and within easy reach of Mousehole, Lands End, Truro, and several gardens and beaches.
