“The Best B & B EVER”

White Waves Guest House

29 Jan 2008

The most peaceful, cosy, tidy, warm, relaxing, clean and wonderful bed and breakfast ever. I had a warm welcome and the owners are just so warm and friendly and interested in providing you with an excellent service. The breakfast was delicious and set me up for the day (hours and hours of walking), the room was just right, the view fantastic (i could see the sea from my bed), the atmosphere of the place really homely......i could go on.....I will certainly go back there and highly recommend it!!

This is a perfect b & b, that provides everything a guest could want: good food, lovely rooms, pampering (Cornish fudge and bathrobes!) and individual attention from Howie and Andy. There was even a £5 voucher to spend at the new gallery!
If you are thinking about booking, do it. You won't be disappointed!

This was a fantastic b&b. when we arrived we were soaked due to famous english rain and we were greeted with a hot pot of tea and cake!!!!!!!! great!
The house is spotless! everything was very tidy and yet it was really cosy.
Howie and Andy are fantasic owners and provide you with a really warm welcome and goodmorning everyday. the breakfast is fabulous, you wont need to eat again until tea time.
Howie has great recommendations for places to visit and eat in St Ives.
this really was like staying in a hotel with complimentry dressing gowns and towels.
I loved the way that you could return to the home whenever you liked in the day and watch one of their great dvds.
I would recommend this B&B to everyone, so long as their is a room avaliable for when my boyfrind and i go back again this year!

perfect place to stay and it was a shame we had to leave!

Howie and Andy's place is a place you could call "you're home"! It is the cleanest and tidiest B&B we have ever stayed in (and we stay in loads of B&B's all over the world)! Although clean and tidy it is warm and cozy. Just the right atmosphere when you have been out driving and touring all day! Howie's insight into the local area is invaluable because he knows all the "best spots". I think truly the best part for me was Howie's cheerful smile first thing in the morning and his lovely ability to talk to anyone about anything (and his breakfasts are absolutely fab). It is a "must stay" for us. We will be going back a couple of times this year too.

Howie and Andy are brilliant hosts, breakfast is to die for and the rooms are so homely. i would recommend anyone who wants a home from home B and B and a warm welcome to stay here. The crows nest was an excellent room - brilliant views - comfortable bed and really warm. The teddy bear on the bed is a nice personal touch as well. In decemeber it is freezing outside but going into white waves was like walking into heaven! we were welcomed by a mince pie and mulled wine( we stayed the weekend before xmas!) You will definatly be seeing us again! thank you
