“Fantastic place”

White Waves Guest House

9 Apr 2008

My friend and I recently stayed White Waves for 2 nights as a break during a week-long walking holiday on the coastal path. We arrived tired after a long day's walking and were made to feel at home straight away by Howie. Our stay there provided us with the relaxing, comfortable stay we were looking for - and the central location was perfect for exploring St Ives. I can honestly say that this is the most welcoming, friendly, clean and comfortable B&B I've ever stayed in - and it definitely has the best breakfasts!

“THE place to stay B&B in St Ives”

White Waves Guest House

28 Mar 2008

If you are searching the Internet for a B&B in St Ives we would strongly suggest that you stop right now and book at 'White Waves' Quite simply it is one of the best B& B's that we have come across. Beautiful rooms, stunning views and near to the Town Centre. You are made to feel at home from the moment you step inside the door by Howie and Andy. Nothing seems too much trouble and the Breakfasts are superb. We will be back again! David and Nihat.

“Heavenly Chill Out”

White Waves Guest House

25 Mar 2008

White Waves made our recent trip to St. Ives. My boyfriend and I were looking for a romantic, peaceful weekend away from London eating pasties and walking on the seashore. We'd never been to St Ives and loved it, but without a comfortable, charming, welcoming place to stay I'm sure things would have been different. Our room had a scrumptious view of the sea -- the place is only a few minutes walk to the shore. Plus Howie and Andy who run it are so kind and ready to help or not help, depending on what you are looking for. Breakfast is cooked practically to order (with many veggie options!) and served at a decent time. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that I would stay here again in a second.

My husband and I returned a few days ago from our first visit to Cornwall for many years but we aim to go back sooner rather than later. This is thanks mainly to the wonderfully warm welcome we received from Howie on our arrival. He made our stay with him so relaxed and it seemed that nothing would be too much trouble for him. We even stayed an extra day more than we'd originally booked for.
The beautiful house ,with awesome views across St. Ives harbour, was spotless and had loads of lovely, interesting things to look at including original artwork on the walls, which could be purchased, (the artist ,Andy, lives here too) There was a wonderful choice of foods for breakfast and plenty of it - no need for lunch if you have the full Cornish!
I've never felt the need to write a review about our trips before but this one stood out so much I can't let the opportunity go by without offering praise where it's due.

We spent a few very relaxing days in White Waves and agreed that it was one of the friendliest and most comfortable b & bs that we have stayed in. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and the breakfasts set you up for the day! Nothing seems to be too much trouble for Howie and Andy and you are made to feel very welcome. We look forward to returning in the future.
