Just returned from a week at this excellent site. Beautifully kept in peaceful countryside, pleasant bar with good food at a reasonable price.
Impressive, immaculate new toilet block with family bath/shower rooms. Helpful staff and brilliant dedicated campsite bus to nearby St Ives was a bonus.
Downside, shop could be a lot better, supplies were always very low but overall the site was scored very highly by these seasoned campers.

Fantastic family run campsite just outside of St Ives. The bus service into town was fantastic (although the walk into town is very pretty too!), esp with all our beach gear in tow.
The owners the Osborne family and their staff couldn't do enough for us, and the toilets were second to none!
Our kids made great use of the pool and games room, and we enjoyed a couple of good meals in the bar/restaraunt. They even had karaoke 1 night a week.

St Ives itself is lovelier than the pics/reviews. A must if you're thinking of visiting the South West. We had a fantastic meal in the Seafood Cafe (make sure you book in advance!!), and favourite pubs/bars included Huers wine bar and the Lifeboat Inn.

We were blessed with great weather which of course helps when holidaying in the UK, but I have to say it was a fantastic holiday in a wonderful town, and we'll definately be returning to Polmanter!
