We booked through Secret Escapes and it turned out it was a secret to the chap welcoming us too! Once they sorted out the booking from the email we had we were shown to our room which was nice, albeit a little 'lived in' from the point of view of needing a bit of a paint in places but generally clean. We stayed on a dinner, bed and breakfast and the food was fresh and a nice meal. The bar area where we ate was a bit warn out (I had a hole in the leather seat in the booth where we sat, covered by a strategic cushion) and the crispy flowers in the glasses (rather than vases) was something you wouldn't have expected from their website. This resulted in me already planning an alternative for night two but that all changed as soon as the first course arrived. The food was tasy and fresh and service from our waiter/barnan on both nights was great - a genuinely great chap. The location was ideal with a lovely sea view. From seeing the website we thought we had a real bargain and whilst it didn't live up to that, when we added it up, we still felt it offered great value come the end of the stay. I'd recommend it to others - just realise its a bit warn in places. V.good breakfast by the way!
