“Fantastic B&B”

Brooklets Cottage Bed & Breakfast

We travelled to Tintagel from Hampshire and stayed for two nights Saturday and Sunday, as soon as I walked through the front door I knew I had chosen very well. Friendly, warm, spotlessly clean and Phil, Nicky and their son John were brilliant. The cooked breakfast could not be faulted and the homemade cake given to us on our arrival I thought was a very nice touch. The rooms were clean beautifully decorated and the ensuite shower room was just fantastic. I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone! I can't think of anything that could have made our stay any better. Well done Phil and Nicky!!

We were very pleasantly surprised by the warm and homely ambience at the Brooklets Cottage. The hospitality extended to us during our brief stay was excellent. The food was superb.

We would love to visit Tintagel - and Brooklets Cottage again and as often as possible.

Overall an extraordinary experience

We feel very fortunate to have found such a wonderful place to stay. Our only regret was that we could only stay one night. In future when visiting the UK, we will use Brooklets Cottage as a base. Compared to other B&B’s that we stayed in on our trip, Brooklets Cottage was the best by far with outstanding attention to detail and good value for money.
The owners, Phil, Nicky and their son John, greeted us with a warm friendly welcome, even though we’d interrupted their evening meal! Nicky cut us a slice of cake each and took it to our room.
Our accommodation was lovely and clean with new furnishings. The en-suite had been newly installed and had complimentary shampoo etc. Terry towel bathrobes and a hairdryer were also provided.
There was bottled water and a bowl of fruit as well as the usual tea, coffee and biscuits in our room.
The breakfast was freshly cooked and massive with a good selection. It set us up for the day!
Phil and Nicky were knowledgeable hosts and gave us information and directions on all the local attractions.
We have recommended Brooklets Cottage to all our family and friends in both UK and Canada and will definitely return ourselves.
