We booked 4 nights in this B&B to relax after Notting Hill Carnival and we will certainly come again! Fantastic location with stunning views! The owners Stuart and Kevin gave us a very warm reception and they were wonderful hosts throughout our stay. The old house is very beautiful and inside everything is crisp and clean with stylish touches in the rooms. The breakfasts were the best we ever had in the UK, incredibly fresh and we loved the sausages. A real gem!

Having arrived at Strete Barton after a long drive and very late at night, we were greeted by one of the owners who carried in our case and showed us round. We loved the room we had (the cottage attached to the side of the house), everything was spotless and finished to a very high standard. The living room is the most incredible space with a wood burning stove. The breakfast was fantastic, incredibly fresh. Stuart was a fantastic cook and host, bringing us freshly made local cake and tea. Both Stuart and Kevin were happy to recommend and book local restaurants for us. The setting of Strete Barton couldn't be better and we had a sea view from our room. I would whole heartedly recommend this B&B to anyone thinking of staying in the Dartmouth area, I have stayed in some lovely B & B's in my time - but this one beats the lot.

Stayed for 3 nights here. Not done much b & b before so was a bit worried as to how it would be. No need to worry - the rooms were spotlessly clean and bright and fresh. The views from the windows were lovely. Stuart is very helpful without being 'in your face'. He suggested walks to us and provided a photocopy of the walk details - and he was right - the walks we did were great.
Breakfast was wonderful - everything very fresh and served beautifully. The fresh fruit salad is wonderful! My husband said the sausages are the best he's ever tasted.
We will be back here next time we are in Devon.
All in all a great place to relax and wind down. highly recommended.

We wanted a B&B with space,charm and style and we found it in Strete Barton, it really did tick all the right boxes. The location was great but still central enough to provided us with easy access to all the resorts and beaches and the village itself has a great choice of places to eat, so if you can tear yourself away from Strete Barton you won't have far to go.
