My partner and I were hungry after enjoying a concert in the Cathedral and thought we would try something different. Having visited Morocco at the end of last year, we were keen to try the food.
I admit, it was a little intimidating when we arrived; dark and noisy inside, but we were brave and ventured in.
It certainly was lively with belly dancing on the bottom floor. We asked to sit at a table and were seated upstairs where it was a little quieter.
I was really impressed by the menu; a real reflection of Moroccan food. It is a shame that the prices do not match!
Nevertheless, we ordered six meze dishes.
We were impressed at how they were presented, on a wooden tray with fresh pitta bread. All the food was delicious and I was not disappointed at all.
I also really enjoyed the very traditional mint tea afterwards.
Overall, a lovely and very positive experience. I will be back
