Just returned from a relaxing weekend staying at this quirky hotel. Food and views, as already stated, are excellent. Very comfortable and large bed. Fabulous old building with a great verander over-looking the sea where you can sit in wicker chairs and enjoy your afternoon tea.
However the decor and furniture are in need of serious renovation. Our room had 70's flowery curtains, and ancient bathroom fittings (olive green bathroom suite and green plastic and rusting chrome vanity unit). Dark and dingy reception area.
Would go back again, just for the food, but it could be so much better with just a bit of money spent on the place. Maybe when they sell the last of three adjoining newly converted appartments some of the money will be ploughed back into the hotel?
