We recently enjoyed a Spring break at the small, Lyn Valley Hotel and were so impressed by the accommodation that we shall definitely be returning. The modern, spacious and comfortable guest rooms are more like you would expect from a 5-star establishment. The staff were most friendly and welcoming and the food was a delight. Add to that the location, surrounded by beautiful scenery – a walker’s paradise - and views to the sea, to make a holiday venue we would recommend to anybody.

My husband, 2 children and I spent an extremely relaxing and enjoyable 3 days at this newly refurbished hotel. From the minute we arrived we were greeted by Johnny, the hotel manager and made to feel very welcome .We stayed in the spacious family suite which was spotlessly clean, decorated and equipped to a very high standard. The children slept in an adjoining room which gave a great sense of adventure and independence to them both whilst still in ear shot of us!!!
We were very impressed with the evening menu, I can recommend the Homemade Steak Pie,whilst my husband devoured the Ex moor Venison Parcel with great enthusiasm! I only wish we had room for the Knickerbocker glory on the desert menu. We will definitely be back soon.
