Seaview Villa is a real treasure, tucked away quietly in a perfect location in the centre of Lynmouth and providing a real luxury guest house experience throughout.
We were met by one of the two owners, Steve, who showed us round and made us feel very welcome. After a drink in the beautifully furnished lounge - to be honest, every room was equally beautifully furnished - Steve booked a local bistro for us and even that recommendation proved spot-on too!
After a good night's sleep in our room - lovely deep bed, super bathroom with a view over the harbour - we were then treated to a wonderful personalised breakfast. I almost regretted choosing the full English as my partner enoyed a fish & egg speciality prepared fresh for our appointed 09:00 breakfast time. Home-made yoghurt, fresh fruit, a choice of filtered coffee, everything was first-rate and as good a breakfast as you would get anywhere in the UK. Quite superb!
For anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the beautiful village of Lynmouth, you would do very well to consider Seaview Villa - their website does not lie and is worth a look to see what I've been banging on about in this review!
