Absolutely superb - couldn't fault anything at all. Great room with fabulous view. Breakfast enormous and really tasty. Warm welcome and easy walk to town.
Book it for yourself and see.

We stayed here for a long weekend. Haven't anything bad to say. The rooms were lovely as were the hosts who always had time to talk to us and advise us where to go. Rooms were great and very clean. The breakfasts were some of the best we have ever had. We would certainly stay there again!

Bonnicott House is a rare true retreat from a chaotic world. Formerly an old rectory, it is the perfect get-away-from-it-all place with charming reminders of a time gone by.
The hosts, Colin and Pam, were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are wonderful with a great choice and quality produce and preparation (you definitely don't need any lunch!).
The rooms are traditional old-English with nice touches like sherry and biscuits in the room, as well as the more usual tea-making facilities.
The large lounge has an open fire and there are books showing the history of Lynmouth along with a compedium of traditional board games. Come rain or shine this hotel ticks all the boxes and we will definitely be going back.

Thanks,

Paul and Joanna, Brixham, Devon

This hotel is small and lovely - great decor, not chintzy! The room we stayed in, the four poster with sea view was traditional and comfortable and you can sit up in the bed and enjoy the view of the sea out of the window from that position - delightful!

The owners were very welcoming and also sociable but not intrusive. They were knowledgeable about the area, and had some good stories! They also gave good advice on where to dine (their own restaurant was not open for dinner when we stayed).

Breakfast was delicious, especially knowing that most of the produce was local, and the setting was amazing - another room with a full-on seaview.

We stayed in December and the weather was unpredictable and a bit wild, but in our view, that added to the experience
