We stayed here on the first weekend that the hotel had re-opened after Christmas/New Year.

We found the hotel to be spotlessly clean and tidy and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners. On arriving we were given 'welcome drinks' of tea and coffee - a really nice touch.

The hotel is very well located - a stones throw from the 'train' to Lynmouth with a secure car park behind the hotel.

If I was going to be picky, I'd say that for the same price you could get a hotel of similar standard to Lee House with sea views but what it lacks in views, Lee House makes up for in hospitality.

One other thing, we had the four poster room - which was excellent but the shower was SO weak....not what was needed after long and hot walks along the SW Coastal path.

Fantastic b&b in a great location on the doorstep of all the shops/amenities in Lynton and a short walk down the coast path into Lynmouth.

Rooms are decorated to a high standard and very clean - arrived early and allowed to leave our bags even though rooms werent quite ready, staff at hotel very courteous and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic!! All for about the same price you'd pay for a grotty b&b in Blackpool - great value for money!!

Would definitely stay again on our next visit!
