Stayed for a weekend break, b&b. Very relaxing. Rooms perfectly clean, tv, kettle, tea etc, with en-suite bath. All in good condition. Breakfast superb. House had tight parking for 6 cars (8 rooms) but as at end of town, loads of on-street parking from 20 yards away. Situated at top of Lynton (which is only small) meaning you can walk straight out towards cliff path or road to Valley of Rocks (1/2 to 1 mile), or in other direction to Watersmeet (3 miles).
Having stayed at hundreds of 'chain' hotels, staying at a B&B was great as hosts made it feel like home: better than concierge service!

Weve just got back from a short break in Lynton, wished we had stayed longer. There are lots of B&Bs and good value too. At Longmead House they do great evening meals, our room was gorgeous. Its in an ideal position if you want just to leave your car and go walking, the owners gave us loads of info and couldnt be more helpful.
