We chanced upon this Hotel and were very surprised at the very high standard that this hotel offered. It is so tranquil with the most stunning views you can imagine. There is a super terrace that one can sit and gaze out to the sea and the headland of Countisbury, it has to be one of the most stunning settings in the UK. As for the service, well, it could not get better. Mark owner and chef goes out of his way to provide superb 4-course dinners every night of the week. After we had enjoyed strolls round the valley of the rocks which is right on the doorstep it was nice to know that a welcome awaited us in the bar! Just what we needed after a day exploring, G&T on the rocks!! and not having to think about where to go and find somewhere to eat. A truly great experience.
