We have finally got round to writing our review of this lovely place! We have stayed there twice now in the last couple of years and can't recommend it highly enough!
The setting is beautiful, high up, surrounded by trees and the sound of the 'Watersmeet' ringing in your ears.
The rooms are lovely, spacious and spotlessly clean.
The owners Pat and Malcolm are lovely, so friendly, and the breakfasts are amazing - particularly Malcolm's scrambled egg!
The surrounding areas of Lynton and Lynmouth are picturesque with plenty to see and do.
The Valley Of The Rocks is a must, as is the water-powered cable ride which takes you down from Lynton to Lynmouth.
Also Glen Valley Gorge which is in Lynmouth.
We also took an open-top bus ride from Minehead back to Lynmouth which was brilliant but watch out for low-hanging branches - we had to duck numerous times but it caused much hilarity!!
If you are looking for a relaxing break with peaceful and picturesque surroundings then we recommend Pine Lodge - it is now one of our favourite places to stay.
