I had a great stay at the Squires B&B. The couple who run the B&B are exceptionally friendly and very accommodating -offering to show us the local bars and took us for a tour of the Hoe. The rooms were clean and comfy and the breakfast the next day was delish! Thank you very much for a very warm welcome and a very pleasant stay...we'll be back!

Starting from Lisa’s bright greeting at the door, this B&B is delightful. I stayed in the only room on the top floor of the house so had total privacy and a skylight on both sides of the room for fantastic star gazing at night (or lunar eclipse as was the case during my stay).

Included were all the little comforts that make a B&B so special although I was disappointed with the bathing situation. The shower, apart from literally being in the bedroom, alternated from scalding hot to freezing cold – not sure why. The glass door only enclosed 2/3rds of the way, hence it was quite a trick stopping water from splashing out onto the bedroom carpet.

Good central location to stroll to all Plymouth’s attractions however there is only pay & display parking (free between 6pm and 10am)on the street and with many B&Bs in the area, I wonder if even getting a parking space would be difficult in busier seasons.

A delicious English breakfast was served in the cosy breakfast room.
