I stayed in room number 7 at the Sunray Hotel for 3 weeks, arriving back in the USA the 17th of september. I found the Sunray to be a charming little hotel with a friendly staff. I heartily recommend it to anyone staying in Plymouth!

My room was bright and airy, food was delicious, and drinks downstairs in the lounge were served quickly, and with a smile.

Next time I am in Plymouth I hope there is a room for me at the Sunray, as I truly enjoyed staying there!

The service we received could not be faulted.

Nothing was too much for them, all we had to do was ask and if it was in there power it was done.

We would certainly go back.

Found the Sunray hotel quickly and easily on the internet. Visited while travelling through the area on business. Being both new to my job and quite new to the area I was feeling somewhat wary of the travel but found that Bob and Jackie made my stay enjoyable and comfortable. With a spacious room and excellent facilities, especially the bar, I instantly felt at ease with my surroundings. The evening meal I had was perfectly cooked also. I will be returning to the area again soon and no longer worry about where I will stay as there is no comparisson to my stay at the Sunray.

We stayed at the Sunray for 3 days at the end of January 04. The owners Bob & Jackie are welcoming and friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable with a king size bed. Clean towels every day and even the offer of a mini-bar if we wanted it. The bar had recently been refurbished and was comfortable for a pre dinner G&T !! following that we had a three course evening meal which was excellent value and tasted great. The owners try to give quality as well as value for money. We are returning to the Sunray again in April and look forward to a relaxing weekend
