Had a 6 day stay at the Victoria Court Hotel, Plymouth and was absolutely delighted by the excellent, courteous and friendly service. Rooms were absolutely spotless and breakfasts were served in such a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The management just could not do enough to ensure that their guests had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Very convenient for coach and rail stations.

I have now stayed at The Victoria Court Hotel in Plymouth on 2 seperate ocassions. I have recently booked a 3rd time and am really looking looking to it. Due to the nature of our work my husband and I frequently need to stay overnight in hotels in England and around Europe. I can honestly say that we both love staying at the Victoria Court Hotel because the couple that own and run it are polite and friendly make us feel extremely welcome. Upon our arrival the first time they not only reccommended a wonderful Italian local restaurant but offered to drive us there. I believe this was beyond the call of duty as hoteliers.
Our room was very clean, comfortable and had all the neccessary facilities. The bed was lovely and there was plenty of hot water. The hotel is close enough to Plymouth town centre to walk but far away enough to be quiet. They have a lovely, relaxing lounge next to the bar where we had a drink while waiting for our taxi to arrive.
The breakfast room is ever so pleasant. The breakfast offered was cereals & fruit and then the full English which is cooked to perfection, in our opinion.
I read somewhere amongst their literature that in 1993 the RAC voted them the best 'small hotel' in the South West. I think they were in 2001 and 2002 & I've justed booked for December 2003.
If you are thinking about booking somewhere to stay in Plymouth and you want a clean, fresh, hotel with a decent breakfast and a warm welcome, look no further, book The Victoria Court Hotel.
