“Wonderful Hotel”

Imperial Hotel Plymouth

Stayed for one night at the Imperial, on the back of the very positive reviews on TA. The location is great. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, everything very fresh, with a very wide choice. The staff were very helpful and the whole place had a nice atmosphere.

A beautiful and very smart hotel. We had a gorgeous stay in a spotlessly clean room with lovely decor and everything you could wish for.The staff were so friendly, efficient and welcoming.Nothing was too much trouble including an umbrella accompanying me to my taxi in the rain for my evening out ! Breakfast was delicious with heaps of choice. The hotel is a dream place to stay in a fantastic location.I would highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone. What more can I say.Hurry up and book a stay!

“Fantastic find !”

Imperial Hotel Plymouth

24 Jan 2008

Really lovely hotel, spottlessly clean, newly refurbished with lovely modern interior design, friendly staff, great location near city center but quiet. We had a great family room with connecting room for children. Overall a great experience-the new owners really care and are putting a lot of effort into this place. Ignore any previous reviews over a couple of years old as they relate to previous owners. Highly recommeded on price and quality.

“Friendly welcome”

As a family of five we find it very difficult booking hotels as most will only accommodate two adults and two children. As our children are young booking two rooms is not an option.

The Imperial Hotel made us feel very welcome. They had a large family room with a separate children's bedroom. Accommodating three children was no problem.

On arrival the owner greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Our room was decorated to a very high standard and included a flat screen TV with DVD player. As we had children they supplied us with some Dvds to keep them occupied.

When we left we borrowed some audio books for the long journey home. A really nice touch.

“Rowe Mafia Invades Imperial Again!”

Imperial Hotel Plymouth

11 Jan 2008

Please disregard all previous negative reviews as even Hyacinth Bouquet would be hard pushed to find fault here! We came, we saw, we stayed - again! More than happy to return to the Imperial. Now under the TLC of Louise and Richard who've clearly been as busy as beavers in the summer of 2007 with very sympathetic and tasteful refurbishments. Lovely decor throughout, plenty of hot water whenever you need it, ample toiletries and coffee making items, clean towells and oh so comfy beds. If you leave the breakfast table hungry then you really ARE that fussy! Attention to details continue to thrill us as does the staff's sense of humour which drifts throughout the guesthouse like that of newly percolated coffee. Wonderful place, run by professional, courteous people. And Bazil must get a mention in despatches - go there to meet him! Thank you to all of you and look forward to our next visit.
