We stayed at the Dudley Hotel for 2 nights, having located it in the local Plymouth tourist magazine, and we were very pleased we chose this hotel. Paul offered us tea on our arrival and we were immediately struck with the welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be using this hotel again. Although there is no car park, parking on the streets surrounding is very cheap and accessible.

Very nice hotel! Would recommend and stay again. Paul the owner is very friendly, we was offered tea/coffee on arrival.
The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast in the morning was yummy.

my job as a stewardess requires many overnight stays in hotels and i have never seen fit to recommend a hotel before but feel i must give the Dudley Hotel a mention, immaculate rooms with satellite tv and free internet access, the manager Paul was friendly with good local knowledge helping to make my holiday much more enjoyable.nothing was to much trouble. highly recommended!!!

As some one who uses hotels and guest houses on a regular basis they have all become a grey and bland place to rest my head but then i have stumbled upon the Dudley Hotel where i can honestly say both myself and my girlfriend have had the most wonderful weekend. From the moment we arrived we were treated as if we were truly being welcomed into Pauls home and it was so refreshing to feel that we were wanted and not an intrusion like many guest houses unfortunately make you feel nowadays. It is most apparant Paul has spent alot of time thinking about what is wanted in a hotel/guest house and implemented his thoughts in such a way as to make this a modern place which has still retained all its old charm and character. Paul is apparantly still not finished and is looking to improve the facilities even more, well all i can say is if he continues in the way he has so far then whoever stays there is really in for a treat, when in Plymouth i will never stay anywhere but at the Dudley Hotel, truly a Gem.
