“Amazing hotel combining modern chic and relaxation”

We knew St Elizabeth's House would be special after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed.

The approach is wonderful and the decor is all newly done and mixes chic, modern interiors with the traditional architecture. There are not many hotels which feel so immediately comfortable that within a few minutes you are regretting that you have only booked one night!

The room was superb in every detail and also spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed (unusual in hotels) and the breakfast was delicious.

Also dinner in the restaurant will go down as one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed and was also good value, beautifully presented and of the highest quality.

All in all, a great experience, good value and we will be back but next time for longer than a night!

If only all hotels were as perfect as St Elizabeth's House..........

Great place to stay if you are visiting Plymouth, We booked a Deluxe Room which had great views of the surrounding countryside it had big sash windows.

The bathrooms are worth the visit itself big walk in shower room with seperate stand alone Bath & double sink. The bedroom was very spacious with big flat screen TV, and the bed was the best I have slept in for some time.

Staff were friendly and attentive, booked us a taxi into Plymouth to go to Tanners Restaurant although after arriving wondered what dinner in the hotel would have been like as the dining room was modern and cosy.

Only downside to point out which is very picky, no room in the bedroom to put your kettle to make tea, and no room service, but the bar served snacks all day.

Has to be worth a visit for any occasion.

We stayed at St Elizabeth House in Feb 08 Beautiful grounds Very helpful Knowledgeable staff, we had the set menu in the evening all delicious food and wine We would highly recommend this hotel just on the outskirts of plymouth with free car parking.we will most likely stay here again in the coming months excellent value very clean and comfortable spacious rooms

We stayed here New Years Eve after hearing rave reviews about this newly opened boutique hotel and were not disappointed. This hotel has a country house feel and we received a warm welcome on our arrival. We stayed in a deluxe spacious room which overlooked the rear garden with a fantastic bathrom and an amazingly comfortable bed. We had the 8 course New Years Eve dinner which was an absolute delight, and the staff were all a credit to the hotel. Despite only living 5 miles away we hope to return to St Elizabeths House very soon.

“Perfect wedding night”

After getting married in a local fort and having the reception elsewhere, we arrived at St Elizabeths for our wedding night to find an irish wedding in full swing, we were welcomed in (despite there then being two brides) and were made to feel extremely welcome! The Longbrook Suite was superb and relaxing in the two side by side baths was the perfect end to the day.
Great room.....great breakfast.....a fantastic start to married life!
