Stayed 4 nights at the MyHotel with my daughter. The hotel is truly a fun design experience - everything down to the teaspoons is interesting. However, after a few days the emphasis on aesthetics over functionality/ergonomics gets a bit tiring. The rooms are tiny, and I mean really tiny! We had the cheaper room and did see into one of the more expensive rooms that are just a bit larger. There is no closet - you hang your clothes on one of 5 hangers (beautiful clear plastic) in front of the full length mirror. So, you have to take all your clothes down to actually use the mirror. There is no bureau and the desk is really just a shelf on the wall. The washroom has no door. I'm glad I was travelling with a close family member! The washroom has 3 parts - all beautiful. The sink area with a window into the bedroom and funky orange accents. The toilet cubicle with brushed glass door and no lock. The shower with glass door and really nice shower head.
Wi-fi did not work at first but worked after a few tries and visits to the front desk. The phone worked, but only once.
There was construction work going on the whole time we were there. I'm not sure if it was in the hotel itself or in the neighborhood.
