I arranged to stay here as one of a group of 6, our plans were changed almost at the last moment, due to unfortunate circumstances, 4 of our group couldn't come which meant we only needed the twin room we had booked but not the family room which I had to cancel within the 48 hours required to cancel the room without charge. I would like to thank the manager, John Davis, for dealing with our problem sympathetically and he waived the one nights charge due for the family room and myself and my friend stayed in the twin room as planned. We felt this was an excellent central hotel on the sea front. The staff were without exception, friendly and helpful and the breakfast good value for £4.95 per head. I would not book this hotel if you are after peace and quiet as it is right in the middle of several clubs so you do get some noise at night from outside the hotel but this is Brighton, you have to expect that. Our room was clean and comfortable, yes the bathroom was small, the water pressure could have been better and there was some damage to a picture on the wall but I would stay here again for a girls weekend but perhaps not with hubby!
