Booked hotel phoning them directly at very short notice (4pm on the day) and charged £60 for a single room incl breakfast. OK, the room was a bit small, but it was nicely furnished and clean and couldn't fault it, although the shower attachment to the bath was a bit old fashioned. The reception staff were very friendly,as were those at breakfast. It was nice to get a frshly cooked hot breakfast rather than the usual precooked variety that had been sitting around for a few hours. The only minor quibble I would have is that the corridors and restaurant were unpleasantly hot. For a wet night in October, it was a refreshing place to stay.

Right by the sea front and walkable to the shops of Brighton. Parking isn't easy in the season, and you have to pay regardless.
The room was fine although tv stations are a bit hit and miss.
There is a tiny lift and you won't want to climb the steep stairs, especially if like me, you're on the 3rd floor.
I got a deal with Laterooms for under £50, but the hotel feel able to add an extra £10 for breakfast which I rejected as somewhat over the top.

Stayed here for two nights whilst working in Brighton, booked through laterooms, for £65 a night RO. resturant is poncey and not worth bothering with, otherwise an enjoyable stay, large well equiped room . Good location, very close to the sea, a bit of a walk into Brighton, but it does not claim to be in Brighton, it is in Hove....

Booked this hotel via laterooms at £110 and it was one of the few accepting single night bookings at the weekend. Had a very large room, clean etc etc. Hotel was about 3 minutes from the sea front and then a 20 - 25 minute walk to the main town. All in all a nice hotel with good staff.. ps. the cafe about 4 mins walk next to the beach does a great breakfast for half the hotels price!
