Hotel looks like a council estate buidling from outside, grey concrete. Inside is not much better.
The rooms are not very clean, stains on carpets and walls, mould in bathrooms. Checked out a number of rooms and all the same state.
The hotel is noisy both inside and out - street noise and room next door.
Air conditioning is currently not working as they are refurbishing - brilliant timing with Summer just begun. Rooms are hot and stuffy. If you have windows open you suffer from street noise.
Breakfast was ok, good variety, quality ok.
Worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at. A black mark on the chain. For £60 a night, many of the B&Bs in Brighton are 10 times better than this.
